Where to Find the Best Pizza in Indianapolis

Show me the pizza! It just may be the perfect food: a carb-loaded, sauced up, cheesy vessel carrying a variety of toppings. No matter which pizza place you stop by, they’re sure to have their own unique twist.

Here are your weekend plans with eight great pizza places to try in Indianapolis.

King Dough

They’re not kidding when they say that their dough is the King. A glass of wine or a mule with a large Destroyer or Grape Gorgonzola make for a perfect pizza night. You can never go wrong with a classic pepperoni too. If you do happen to see a pizza on their menu featuring meatballs, that is automatically your top choice.

Carmel: 12505 Old Meridian St, Carmel, IN 46032

Pizzology

Grab a seat at the bar and your drink of choice. Here’s what you’re ordering: a chopped salad, breadsticks and a pepperoni pizza. Pizzology keeps it simple yet delicious. If you feel adventurous and it just so happens to be a Friday night, check out their gnocchi special.

13190 Hazel Dell Pkwy Ste 180, Carmel, IN 46033

Futuro

Ever try pizza with the sauce on top? That’s right, sauce on top of the cheese — Detroit-style. Having some friends over for a movie night? Order a Futuro pizza ahead and pick up an order of their GIANT breadsticks for a totally different pizza experience.

19 Cruse St, Indianapolis, IN 46202

Diavola

This Broad Ripple restaurant has the pasta, the antipasti, the insalate and most importantly, the pizza. Try their namesake Diavola pizza or opt for a classic Margherita and pair with your favorite glass of wine. Stop by each week for their surprise calzone.

1134 E 54th St, Indianapolis, IN 46220

Passione

On the search for authentic Italian pizza? Look no further than Passione. Sipping on a glass of red wine inside their Italian atmosphere will make you feel like you’re in Rome. Start with some wood-fired wings while you’re waiting on a pizza of your choice.

11640 Brooks School Rd Fishers, IN 46037

Porch Pizzas

Brought to you each Sunday evening through a pop-up at Tinker Street, Porch Pizzas is serving up different options each week based on what’s in season. Make sure to set a reminder to check out their Instagram to see what the pie of the week is.

Brozzini Pizzeria

Brozzini is serving up New York style pizza. Start with an order of garlic knuckles drenched in garlic butter. Why stop there with the garlic? If you’re a big white pizza fan, try the garlicky and cheesy 34th Street. In true New York fashion, make sure to grab a slice of cheesecake on your way out.

Indianapolis: 8810 S Emerson Ave # 240, Indianapolis, IN 46237

Speedway: 1067 N Main St Suite B, Speedway, IN 46224

Greek’s Pizzeria

Greek’s deserves an honorable mention for being such an Indy staple. Their pizza can be found across the city. They deliver, too, which is a huge plus. Go for a classic pepperoni, or the Gourmet House, and don’t forget to order breadsticks.

Multiple locations

I Tre Mori

Another Fishers pizza joint to add to your list: I Tre Mori. This spot is slinging delicious wood-fired pizzas out of a giant oven right in front of your eyes. Their casual pizza joint is located in a Fishers strip mall right off of I-69, but don’t let that scare you away. Their pizza menu is extensive, so you’ll be sure to find something for everyone. Their pizzas are about 12”, and we found that three pizzas was enough to feed five people with leftovers to go around (we also ordered a salad and focaccia to share).
