One Good Thing: Beef Burgundy Pot Pie from Joe’s Butcher Shop

Welcome to One Good Thing, a weekly(ish) series where I write about one really good thing that I think you should know about.

What’s the One Good Thing? The Beef Burgundy pot pie from Joe’s Butcher Shop.

What makes it so good? Quality is everything. Joe’s Butcher Shop has been around since 2006, and their longevity is for a reason. They’ve recently started offering more prepared foods and take-and-bake options, which are perfect to stock your freezer with for those nights you just don’t want to cook.

Flaky, buttery crust and hearty filling make this a win in my book. Plus, with its rustic look, you might even be able to pass this pot pie off as your own.

At around $10, this pot pie is a great deal for the quality and size. You could definitely feed 2-4 people with this, especially if you added a salad on the side.

Where can I get it? Joe’s Butcher Shop is located in downtown Carmel on Main Street, very close to the Monon Trail. Pick up one of their pot pies (they’ve also got chicken pot pies!) from their freezers.

Joe's Butcher Shop and Fish Market, 111 W Main St #110, Carmel, IN 46032
